Digitalization in information production, distribution, trade, and consumption has created unprecedented opportunities for the development of copyright trade among different countries. ICIA will make full use of the new opportunities brought about by the development of science and technology, to the global copyrights trade, to create new models of copyright trade and to serve its member enterprises by providing increased value to their copyrights.

Located in Hong Kong, ICIA is surrounded by the relatively mature China mainland market, the Taiwan area market, the markets of South Korea and Japan, and the market of Southeast Asia whose economy keeps growing. Meanwhile, Hong Kong being one of the international trade and finance centers and the hub for information and culture exchanges, enjoys the great advantages of geography and human resources.

With the above advantages of timing, location, and people, ICIA intends to create new models and patterns for copyright trade through joint efforts with its members so that exchange among different cultures can be better promoted.
