The Frankfurt Book Fair is not only an international platform for publishers to implement copyright transactions, but also a venue for exhibitors to spread local culture and exchange ideas. ICIA once again held the Global Illustration Awards with the Frankfurt Book Fair, and held the award ceremony on the first night of the book fair. The Global Illustration Award aims to have better and effective copyright protection for Illustrator works and to help the works become multi-used in a wider context by using and applying the International Standard Link Identifier (ISLI) and advanced technologies in the background of information digitization. Through the competitions and awards, we can strengthen international experience exchange and cooperation in illustration creation, promote the prosperity and progress of the global illustration business, at the same time enhance the visibility and influence of ISLI international standards, as well as promote and guide ISLI application in different fields in the world. This time award ceremony was held in the newly established outdoor Frankfurt Pavilion, Agora. Ms. Guo Li, Secretary of ICIA, ISLI RA COO, delivered a speech at the ceremony. In her speech, she congratulated the success of the Global Illustrator Awards, and highly praised the award ceremony which was fully presented by the IlluSalon, and stated that ICIA will continue to cooperate with the Frankfurt Book Fair to hold the awards ceremony, and will constantly promote the development of this award together with IlluSalon. Finally, Ms. Li Guo said that ICIA will always promote the cooperation practice of ISLI international standards and information content industry, promote ISLI application worldwide, and provide better membership services for ICIA members.

In addition to the GIA, during the fair ICIA has met with some of existing members who attended this book fair to communicate the progress and development of ICIA's new work. Moreover, ICIA also actively talked to publishers from around the world in order to recruit more members for ICIA family.

What is worth mentioning is that ICIA representatives were also invited to participate in the literary symposium of the Valencia region, and ICIA attracted the attention of various Spanish publishers and authors. Some publishers considered ISLI very interesting and hoped to have more opportunities to learn about ISLI in the future.
