International Standard Link Identifier (ISLI) officially published

On May 15th, 2015, International Standardization Organization officially published the International Standard Link Identifier (ISLI), making it the 11th international standard published by ISO in the field of information and documentation.
The news, together with ISO's decision on the designation of ICIA as the Registration Authority for ISLI, was announced by Todd Carpenter, the secretary of ISO/TC46/SC9 at the Forum on the ISLI Introduction and Promotion held by ICIA and China Audio-video and Digital Publishing Association on May 16th, 2015. And ISLI RA CEO Lu Yingfeng received the first copy of the ISLI standard from Mr. Carpenter.
Todd Carpenter expressed congratulations on the publication of the ISLI standard and ICIA's success in applying for serving as the ISLI RA. And he hoped ICIA would introduce the ISLI standard to the world and provide better applications in the information and documentation area in the future.
